My wife and I stopped in after arriving at the airport while on vacation one Sunday morning. The Seafood Omelette w/crawfish shrimp was very tasty. The Corned Beef Hash was really good. The best experience was the biscuits. They were our of this world. Little clouds of paradise. With such great biscuits, I was very disappointed at the biscuits gravy that I saw, so I avoided ordering. Especially when they only chop up a sausage patty for the sausage biscuits gravy. The food was seasoned and hot. The waitress was not attentive to our table. We had to ask several times for items and it seemed to bother her when we did. She automatically received 18% gratuity so she didn’t care about us. She stayed on her phone, playing with her baby who was there to visit and cleaning bc they closed at 3pm. The mimosas did not have any flavor… tasted just champagne!! I will not be back to the location on Veterans.
The food was seasoned good and it was nice and hot. The gumbo tasted like brown gravy mix out the pack. Our waitress was not friendly or attentive at all! She was more worried about cleaning the counter area than us. I don’t think she cares because she knew she was getting the 18% gratuity. First and last visit here!
Love this place! Service is excellent. They make you feel very welcome even checking on you while you wait for a table. Food is great. I recommend the biscuits with country gravy

Went for breakfast on the way out of New Orleans. It was the best breakfast I had on the whole Louisiana trip. Great coffee as well.
Three words…Funnel Cake sticks. So yummy! Food was perfect and service was smooth. Love the old school diner vibe.
It was my first visit, and I'll definitely return. The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly.
Literally the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. Hands down. And the service was exceptional as well!
