I ordered the $14.50 vegetable dan mein noodles for takeout at 5:37 PM on a Wednesday, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were! The thick mein noodles were fantastic, and the dish was bursting with flavor. The only reason I'm giving it a 4-star rating instead of 5 is that my friend and I both experienced issues when trying to order online; it simply didn’t work for us. When I called to place the order, I was informed there would be a 40-minute wait for the food. Additionally, parking in the downtown area was quite challenging. Aside from that, I have no other complaints! The menu and prices are a bit higher than your typical Chinese restaurant, but the atmosphere feels mo...

Solid 4 star. I’m glad there’s another Chinese option in Pasadena. Prices are reasonable and the quality is consistent. Service is top notch if you compare to Chinese restaurants LOL. Ordered: mapo tofu surprisingly legit. Big portion for 2 3 people. I approve this dish. Popcorn Chicken more like Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Some pieces were dry. PASS. xiao long Bao: spicy pork is really good and interesting flavor. Their skin is a bit thick compared to their Chinese counterpart restaurant chain. their fried rice is good but you might want to request sodium salt level down a bit. Crab and short ribs are all great. scallion pancake : fried and crispy but I like Noodle St better. three cup chick...
The food is absolutely delicious! I always search for great Chinese cuisine on the west side, and Dan is definitely one of the best. Whenever I crave Chinese food and can’t get to Din Tai Fung, I turn to Dan instead. I’m not sure if it’s the same as the old ROC (which I found disappointing), but Dan is far superior. There are so many options to choose from, including juicy pork dumplings (my one-year-old drinks up all the soup), cold appetizers, crab fried rice, stir-fried noodles, and garlic sautéed Chinese vegetables like snow peas and Chinese broccoli. I love this place!
Loved everything, but not the vegan dumplings (a bit flavorless) I’d go back to get the salt and pepper tofu, any of the garlic veggies, the cucumber salad and the scallion pancakes (I was the only one that liked these). Service was quick and there wasn’t a two hour line which as great. It’s tucked away in an inside corner of the plaza and a bit hidden, but it’s there, you’ll find it.I’d go back and add some noodles or rice to this order.Happy Munchies,aVeganAndHer Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is a decent spot for Chinese cuisine. However, I found that the food lacks a distinct flavor profile compared to other Chinese restaurants. The dim sum was enjoyable, but the absence of dipping sauces made them a bit bland. The rice was good, but it was unseasoned, and when I requested salt, I was brought some from the kitchen; why not just have salt and pepper on the table? Overall, I'd rate the food 5/5.
We ordered the Mapo tofu and the oxtail beef noodles. For the price of $16-20, I believe there are better portion sizes for noodles available elsewhere. On a positive note, it’s nice that they offer half portions for most lunch items. The flavor was enjoyable, but I'm unsure if I would return.
The restaurant offers Chinese cuisine with a contemporary twist! I appreciate the sleek and modern design of the space. They serve delicious chicken dan noodles and crispy pork and shrimp dumplings.
The waiter was very accommodating and answered all questions regarding which items were vegan friendly. Food was good as well. Recommend the spicy soup dumplings Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food is delicious and there are several vegetarian options available. However, if you don't eat mushrooms, it's best to ask for alternatives. Rating: 4/5.
Tasty! Enjoyed it quite a bit. Will return to sample more of the menu. Loved the noodles and dumplings the most.
