This restaurant is marvelous. I went with my wife and son a few weeks ago (two nights in a row! having gone last summer and we simply love it! Going to Dan Tana's is like being welcomed home. The atmosphere is both unpretentious and fun, and the food is darned fantastic too. If you want a stuffy, marble, Beverly Hills dining experience, this is not the place for you, but, if you want an authentic classic vintage Hollywood experience then this certainly IS the place for you! Dan Tana is the best Italian restaurant in LA! I'm convinced it's not 5 stars on yelp for people to gatekeep (boooo) Our waiter Eeyore was absolutely a gem and made us feel right at home! He was soooo funny and made the experience! My favorite dishes were the Caesar salad, fried zucchini, garlic bread, NY steak and broccoli! The martinis were amazing too!
