We visited this restaurant on a Chef's Line gastronomic tour of Melbourne. The style of cooking, the amazing tantalising tastes of Vietnamese ingredients fused with western cooking, and the standard of service all exceeded our expectations. Touché to Azman for looking after us so well. He helped with great advice on ordering, choice of wine and no question was too hard. Thx v much Az for making our evening simply magical. Food tip: the Pork Hock is a must try. We had the Feed Me menu which was absolutely the right decision. Az was able to switch the duck dish with a kingfish carpaccio for us.
We got around Dandelion for our anniversary. We were looking for somewhere that had a bit of funk, but good food, and Dandelion ended up to be everything we were looking for.We went the tasting menu, which had a string of highlights but probably nothing more than the Pork Hock, which was absolutely ridiculous. Cost of the tasting menu was $75 which was pretty good. We walked out, after having a few drinks between us at under $250. Well worthy of it's Good Food Guide Hat.
We picked Dandelion for our anniversary. Wow. Fantastic service by the wonderful Hannah. She was so good explaining to us how the restaurant works. The food !!! Oh my. So nice and plenty of it we chose the feed me option. A great vietnamese influence and so different. I highly recommend Dandelion.
We absolutely loved these dishes pictured and the lamb shank as well. Great atmosphere, attentive service. We will be back regularly! Love that this restaurant is in my 'hood!

Food was no good. Couldn't get certain dishes from the menu. Staff seems lost wondering & wondering about. Need a serious comeback to what it used to be.
