Wow. Totally unexpected. Walked past this place out of the blue and their fully stocked sushi fridge viewable from the street brought me in. Had a couple hand rolls which were very fresh and tasty. Then notices their burger menu. I tried their signature DANELIS burger and let me tell you it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. They are kosher so a little on the pricey side but at least you know that means your eating quality food. Will define returning to this place.
Wow! Unexpected! I love m.... Wow! Unexpected!<br/ <br/ I love my burgers and was told about Daneli's by a mate. With all the great burger shops which continue to open around Melbourne, Danelis is the quiet achiever!<br/ <br/ A few of us went to try the burger simply sensational! I added the American mustard which they have on the tables to give it the extra tang I love, and easily surpassed my expectations! Chips were also right up there!<br/ <br/ 9/10! Highly recommended.
Had lunch today for take away. Hm déjà vu. Last time I had a hot pastrami sandwich similar to this it was in New York. Good portion of meat vs rye bred and tasty mustard. I also forgot that in Nyc I always got a pickle with a sandwich and same as here it was a small portion of coleslaw. For my liking the meat could have been sliced thiner than it was, but that did not take away from the experience. Will try other stuff in the future. Cheers.
I am thrilled that I discovered this restaurant on Deliveroo. After my dinner plans went awry and I was left hungry, I decided to try their Jewish style food. The Matzah Ball soup was fantastic, a definite 5/5. It was one of the best delivery meals I've ever had. The chicken schnitzel burger was also delicious and well-priced. This restaurant is absolutely delicious and is the best kosher restaurant in Melbourne. The burgers are amazing and the hot beef is incredibly tasty. While the chips are just average, be sure to try the onion rings. The portions are large enough to share a meal. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Awsome fat juicy burgers. Danielis Restaurant is like a second Christmas for local food fanatics and restaurant goers. Its like sex on a plate. The best burgers in town, a bit pricey , but you do get what you pay for.
The very best Reuben sandwich for miles around!!! Loaded with succlent meat, tasty sauerkraut and a delicious Dijon mustard sauce!! Plus a small side of yummy coleslaw and a pickle! Outstanding!!!!! I'll be back!! :

Daniels's has very good food but few tables and no atmosphere. We especially like the Asian dishes which are very tasty and fresh.
