I don't plan on saying nice things about the place either. We arrived slightly in advance of our 5:15 reservation, made so we could get to the Papermill for a 7 pm show. We ordered by 5:30, had appetizers and left at 6:35 our dinners still had not been served and there was no indication that would be happening any time soon. I ordered the baked eggplant appetizer, and to my surprise, it was just a single piece of eggplant as thin as a contact lens for $10.95. My wife chose the Raviol Fatti, which was watery and lacked flavor, and we both agreed that it was disappointing, especially with the soggy mushrooms and the absence of truffle essence. The mussels were decent, but overall, the dishes felt overpriced for the quality offered.

We had a reservation for 7:15 and arrived right on time. Our party had salads and entrees. At 840 half of us departed to catch the train in 10 minutes back to the city. The remaining group stayed to pay the bill. The busboy or waiter was really rude and asked them as soon upon paying the bill to leave as another group had been waiting an hour for our table. Can’t imagine that was our fault or how they could be waiting an hour for a table we were sat at 85 minutes ago. I don’t consider an hour and a half a terribly long time for a meal. We are not the kind of people to sit around just hang after a meal. I won’t be coming back to spend my money here despite the food being good.
This restaurant offers good service, but the food is pretty average. There isn't anything particularly exciting on the menu or in terms of flavors. Reservations are not required, which seems fitting since the dishes aren’t anything out of the ordinary.

Service was lovely. Everything else was just so ordinary. If I was going out with someone who really wanted to go there I wouldn't make a fuss... but I don't see any reason to go back there
We had a lovely dinner that was delicious with attentive service and featured byob .It is a genuine neighborhood gem that is within walking distance to The Papermill Playhouse .
Verry nice Italian restaurant good service amazing pasta. Lobster, vongole, schrimps and linguine and a sauce to die for.
Fantastic restaurant! We had a wonderful time with both the delicious food and the warm hospitality.
