The pastries at Danish Pastry House are excellent and very tasty. However, a traditional Danish bakery would typically offer non-sweet items as well, like rundstykker. Many bakeries also have a selection of cheese, jam, and butter for customers to purchase everything they need for breakfast. It would be great if Danish Pastry House could add rundstykker to their menu. Unfortunately, there are no vegan or dairy-free options available, which is disappointing for customers with dietary restrictions. We placed an order for two large cakes for a party 10 days in advance. It was a struggle as the person taking our order barely spoke English. When we arrived to pick up the cakes, they were not ready. The staff at the Watertown location seemed indifferent to our disappointment. They did offer to make new cakes, but it would take an hour, and they refused to deliver them to our venue, which was only a 25-minute drive away. Despite being a loyal customer, their lack of professionalism and attitude left us feeling let down. Thankfully, Paris Baguette saved the day. If you plan to order from this restaurant, make sure you have a backup plan.
A hidden treasure in Watertown. It 's more a small takeout store not a big cafe like the pictures suggest. They are probably from a different location. But their food is great. We always get birthday cakes and cakes for other occasions here and the princess torte is just amazing. When taking a tour with the kids on the new bike path we also stop by from time to time to get a sweet snack and charge up our batteries. You really have to look for it as it 's attached to a larger commercial building plus the actually producing bakery, so you would not come across it naturally.

Their cakes to order are awesome. Pastries/muffins average. Note that images shown by GOOGLE search for Watertown location are misleading! The store w tables and chairs is ONLY for their place in Medford. Their bakery is in Watertown w very small selection and mostly for order pickup.
I found this around the back of this business park. It's small inside so plan on carryout. A good assortment of very tasty pastries, muffins and cookies were still available when I picked up the cake I ordered. The cake was outstanding and the muffins good.
We ordered the Lemon Luscious cake which was wonderful! Very fresh and flavorful, yet light. The decorations with marzipan were a nice touch. Highly recommend and will be coming back!
I love this quaint bakery hidden away from the crowd. While I'm not a fan of them using margarine, the flavors of their pastries speak for themselves - absolutely delicious!

Pastries are great. But store pictures are incredibly misleading for this location. It is a small shop with no place to sit and no espresso.
