We ordered 3 spreads and some bread and it took insanely long for them to get to our table. Our server was MiA for so long we had to ask someone else why we were waiting so long. Fantastic food featuring a unique selection of Austrian Heuriger spreads, along with excellent fish, sausages, and other traditional Austrian-German side dishes. Their desserts are consistently fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Portions are generous, often leaving enough to take home after a satisfying meal. I've dined at Dano’s more than 20 times over the past decade and have always been thoroughly pleased. Parking is convenient and accessible, even for those with disabilities like myself. We enjoyed an amazing lunch that was worth every penny. The food was incredibly flavorful and the location is fantastic. Normally, I would gladly give five stars, but one issue with the bill left us disappointed and made me hesitant to return. The waitress recommended trying Oktoberfest beers from the local brewery, which we happily ordered. However, unlike the other beers on the menu priced between $5 and $8, these weren’t listed and were charged at $11 each. Knowing their usual price is comparable to other options, we felt taken advantage of—a frustrating and unnecessary way to inflate the bill, especially after we happily enjoyed appetizers, entrees, and dessert.
The experience starts at the behemoth of a door with this massive handle. The interior feels warm and very pleasant and you walk by the dessert case as you pass through to the dining area or the patio outside. I believe Ellen was our server and she was great. Had great suggestions and impeccable service. The viennese bento box was delicious. A beautiful view and plenty of space while also feeling personal. You can tell they care about quality of food and are deeply passionate about their service from start to finish. Next time we visit, we will definitely be back. Thanks!

Simply wonderful. My husband and I came here for a romantic dinner on the patio and we were not disappointed. The view over the lake was lovely. Our server hit that perfect blend of attentive and relaxed and efficient. We had one of the spreads as an appetizer, the goulash of the day, the wienerschnitzel with knödel and spicy sauerkraut, and for dessert apple cherry strudel and decaf coffee. Everything was delicious, and the goulash especially was ridiculously good. A memorable night!
