The spicy scallop hand roll was straightforward but could have benefited from some avocado or cucumber. On the plus side, the scallops were substantial—not the tiny kind—and had just the right amount of zest. I can eat a lot of sushi, but those three rolls were more than enough; the portions were generous, with plenty of fish and just the right amount of rice. I definitely plan on returning.

Mediocre sushi and service, but they have a decent decor. I've been here 3x because it was close, a Groupon and treat and all three have been subpar. I had high expectations coming here and was disappointed. I've been wanting to eat sushi for a couple of weeks so decided to come here as I was in the area. My lunch companion and I had a delightful visit to Dao today. Unlike some previous reviews mentioning issues with inexperienced waitstaff, we found our server to be well-informed and very helpful with meal recommendations. They were attentive and assisted us in properly applying our Groupon for the bill. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. However, I do need to point out one concern. We arrived at noon, right when the restaurant opened, and it was clear that they had just mopped the floors. While it's good to know they keep the place clean, mopping should happen well before opening time. The floors were extremely slippery, creating a serious risk of slips and falls—there wasn’t even a wet floor sign. Additionally, there was a strong smell of cleaning chemicals that made me feel a bit dizzy.
I am traveling for business and was in the mood for Asian flavors. Dao let me double dip, with a very flavorful spicy scallop roll and then a very delicious Shrimp Pad Thai. Service was good, it was a slow night and I ate in the bar area, it is well stocked and on my next visit (yes, I will be back) I will check the skills of the bartender.
I don't come here for Sushi. Sushi is overpriced for what you can get, even better, at other places. I come here when I want some Thai food. Their portions for the Thai dishes are generous, family style for sharing.

Food was excellent! Beautiful ambiance. Waitress was not attentive at all. Music was VERY loud. We asked for it to be turned down and it never happened. We felt like we were in a club.
