Dar Asmaa Saveurs Du Maroc

After a long day at Moutchic plage at Lac de Lacanau we went for dinner with our family of four. Warmly welcomed by the owner as the first guests, after an hour all tables were filled. The menu is limited to what is prepared fresh...daily, 3 starters and 3 main courses. Which works fine for me. Food is delicious with a heartwarming blend of Moroccan spices. Recommend to try a tahine, lamb or kofta. Rounded it off with traditional sweetened mint tea and patisserie. Informal small setting with a friendly owner/waiter/dj who keeps humming along the Moroccan music all evening. Probably the best maybe only? place to get a proper dinner in Moutchic.

family of four including two small children, we sat and ordered our food. shortly before eating the owners came to the restaurant. at which point the owner said we had not reserved ourselves and we were asked to be able to sit their friends. they were not a reserved sign on the table, and we have clearly said we had not reserved ourselves before sitting.

we stumbled over this restaurant when we stayed near the lake. in the grunde it works from the garden of the house. the food is fresh and all cooked to order and is of excellent quality. asmaa is the cook, waitress and manager! The restaurant is very similar to eating in someone's house and is highly recommended.

Asmaa is the best host in town, the food is absolutely stunning ! She has an amazing energy and Will make you feel like you are at home ! I will be back without a doubt !!

amazing eating, delicious tee, friendly staff friendly and nice atmosphere will be safe again next time I visit lacanau
