We ate here twice whilst staying in Zell am See and wish we'd found it earlier. Don't be put off by the fact that the restaurant is part of a camping place. It is situated at the end of the lake in between Zell and Thumersbach. The walk from our accommodation along the lake shore was well lit and the fire burning in the outside wood burner was a welcoming sight. The food was excellent, nicely presented and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would love to return in summer in order to appreciate the wonderful lake and mountain views.
We had dinner in Seecamp following recommendation and weren't disappointed. The restaurant has an airy feel but the table we were shown to at the same time had a cosy ambiance. The meal we had was tasty and good value and the staff friendly and spoke good English (they also have English menu's.) All in all a nice dinner and I am sure the location onto the lake would be great in the lighter evenings. Recommended.
The restaurant has direct view to zell am see lake,where you can have a walk and feed the ducks. The salad was good, but pizza were salty. Our waiter suzen was impatient when she took our order. When she repeated our order there was a small mistake and we pointed it but she overreacted and was so rude and said " uuf i hate this! " we did not say a thing at that time but for sure we were not pleased about it.
Die Hauptgerichte sind frisch zubereitet sehr gut und ein Hingucker auf dem Teller! Wir hatten auch tollen Kuchen und der Espresso und die Tees waren sehr lecker, alles von lokalen Produzenten! Ein toller Ort auch für Familien mit Kindern. Der Spielplatz neben dem Restaurant ist schön! Ein Besuch lohnt sich, sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank und weiter so. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Great location overlooking Zell lake with fantastic views of the mountains. Ate here twice recently and both times service was very good as was the food. Prices seemed cheaper than in town too. Building is very spacious whilst obviously reasonably recent.
We visited this restaurant during a walk around the lake on a wet and cold Friday afternoon in August. The fire was on in the outdoor seating area and was a welcome sight, and there were heaters too. We had delicious apple strudel and coffee.
Away from the tawdry kebab joints and shisha lounges in Zell am See, Seecamp is in a delightful lakeside location, a pleasant 20 minute stroll from the town centre. Our lunchtime salads were delicious and the service was prompt and efficient.
Der Kellner war sehr unhöflich und wir fühlten uns im Restaurant überhaupt nicht willkommen. Außerdem gab es eine Fliege im Salat und die Ravioli schmeckten mit Parmesan nach gar nichts. Das Schnitzel war aber gut Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I have eaten here a few times recently and the food is of good quality and the service is excellent. I would highly recommend eating here if you are in the area.
