I visited Davenports of Cheshire tea room on Saturday (20th May) with my partner and parents. The service was brilliant from start to finish and we had the pleasure of Belinda sharing her knowledge on the history of afternoon teas which blew us away! we tried around 4/5 different teas and couldn't believe all the different flavours. The afternoon tea itself was delicious too, with a good variety of sandwiches, savoury and sweet treats. The scones were something else! We can't recommend Davenports of Cheshire tea rooms enough and we can't wait for our next visit. Thank you to Belinda and her team for such a lovely Saturday afternoon.
Visited today for the Victorian Christmas afternoon tea. The tea rooms looked absolutely beautiful. Afternoon tea was beautiful, good selection of teas, sandwiches cakes. The young man who looked after us served our afternoon tea was both very friendly helpful. A real asset to the tea rooms. We had a fantastic afternoon would highly recommend anyone looking for a special Christmas afternoon tea experience to book Davenports
Sunday 22nd July Had the pleasure of meeting Belinda the resident tea expert who told us all about the teas available and gave recommendations. The Scones were the best scones I've ever tasted. So fresh and melt in your mouth. There is a reason why you have to book and why it's popular! Cakes lovely too! Thank you for the best afternoon tea we have had. The Tea and food was Fab.
What a wonderful celebration afternoon tea we had! Belinda was so knowledgeable and helpful with her teas to accompany our food. Spot on choices too. Our food was delightful, both the meat eaters and vegetarians we treated to a delightful selection of sandwiches and cakes. The still warm from the oven scones finished off a perfect treat. Just had Victorian afternoon tea. A wonderful experience from start to finish. From the decor, including traditional paper chains to the very informative talk from Belinda on the history of tea. Beautiful home made delicate cakes. And old fashioned potted beef sandwich. Looked after perfectly by pat.
Booked a Victorian tea for 2 for wife's birthday and our anniversary. Great choice of teas and educated us on the different teas. Lovely sandwiches, as well as amazing locally sourced mini deserts as well as locally sourced meat for the sandwiches.
Great communication with the booking and from the minute we walked in to the place it was a great experience. Food was delicious, cakes were amazing. Also for someone who isn’t a massive tea drinker have been pleasantly surprised/converted.
Cute little country tea room in Northwich. The afternoon tea was fa tasted and very high quality. The tea talk was very interesting. Love how traditional and old fashioned the place is and the Alice in Wonderland theme is very cute. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We’ve been 4 times and each time is wonderful- we did the Christmas Victorian tea and have booked on already for next year. Such a special wonderful place. The food and detail is incredible. We are so happy we found you.
