I visited this location on a Friday night and wasn't as busy as some reviewers mentioned.Food:the chicken was fresh and the taste was really good, we got Dave's #2 which comes with two chicken sandwiches and a side of fries. On Monday evening, I was tired and decided to try something new at this restaurant. I ordered a slider with a side of french fries that were supposed to be mildly spicy. There was an option to customize the order, but I didn't need to as it is not common at this type of eatery. I took my order to go and when I got home and opened the box, I found soggy fries that tasted like they were cooked in old oil from Walmart. The slider I received was not what I had expected - it looked different from the picture and was overly spicy. The food was satisfactory. I enjoyed the sides more than the entrees. I don't appreciate them assuming we ordered fries and only including a few packets of ketchup in the bag. Both times I ordered, I swapped out the fries for other sides. Since these were online orders for pick up, I didn't check the contents of the bag. This seems wasteful in a time when we all try to limit our consumption. They should ask customers what they want and pack their orders accordingly. This is something management should train the staff to do.
Ordered a 2 tender combo with the hot spice level. Aside from the slight sweetness of the seasoning, there wasn't much spice. This may be due to personal tolerance, but another problem was the overwhelming saltiness of the chicken. If this can be fixed, I'd love to come back and give it another try. Fries and sauce were good, and the inside of the store is nice and clean. This is jot my cup of tea, but definitely a good option for fast, casual hot chicken at a reasonable price! First time trying dave’s was an amazing experience. Very polite employees and the chicken beats any other place. Just wanted to thank one of the workers Jordan who took my order and was patient with me and was a great help. Definitely coming here regularly
I ordered two cheese sliders with fries and a drink for over $18. The food was fresh and delicious. I opted for the hot heat, which was quite spicy. The rolls were especially tasty, possibly with a sweet Hawaiian influence.
The service at this restaurant was wonderful, especially with the assistance of Seika. She was very kind and efficient in taking my order.
