Davisto - Tisch resevieren

Naar uitzicht lijkt het om een leuk en gezellig restaurantje in Nice vlakbij de promenade des Anglais te gaan. Dit is tot op zeker niveau ook zo. We werden goed ontvangen en na even wachten kregen we dan onze drankjes wat brood en olijfolie. Veelbelovende start. Het eten loste echter de verwachtingen niet in: vooral een totaal gebrek aan kruiding en smaak was opvallend voor een traditionele Italiaan. Dit zijn meestal de dingen waarin zij uitblinken. De saltimbocca was flets, bevatte geen enkele vorm van kruiding en werd vergezeld van fletse niet gezoute ovenaardappel en een slaatje zonder enige vorm van vinaigrette. Er stond balsamico maar dit is toch zeer mak. De pasta's van mijn tafelgenot...

I'd describe this as a functionally dull Italian restaurant, the likes of which most people have experienced. You know the sort... the food is okay, if a bit bland, the service is fine, but they're clearly not interested in you, the atmosphere is... well, nice? Specifically, the bruschetta base was soggy, the pasta dishes lacked seasoning and the pork dish was very unexciting. I can't call it 'poor' because it was perfectly average, but I had been led to expect a lot more from the other reviews. I just suspect the people working there are a bit bored.

Ce resto conseillé par des amis italiens est excellent. Ayant moi même vécu 15 ans avec une italienne excellente cuisinière, je confirme.Nous étions 8 et sommes tous unanimes. La cuisine est maison, tout est frais et copieux. L'accueil est très agréable et le digestif a été offert. Allez y les yeux fermés d'autant qu'en réservant avec La Fourchette vous aurez une remise de 40 %

Ristorante in prossimità del centro. Cucina raffinata con prodotti italiani di qualità. Tagliere di salumi e millefoglie di melanzane notevoli nella scelta e nella preparazione. Primo piatto dove si percepisce la passione dello chef. Tutto ben fatto e ben curato. Vino carissimo,non so se standard a Nizza,ma 15 euro mezzo litro di vino della casa ... Ces restaurateurs ont tout compris. Dîner délicieux et environnement agréable,Service discret et aimable.Finesse dans la qualité des plats et le choix des composants.Un restaurant plein à 20h et cela se comprend.À ne pas louper lors de votre passage à Nice ou à visiter si vous résider dans cette jolie ville.Bon appétit

Une cuisine italienne aux saveurs originales et délicieuses, un service chaleureux... Tous les ingrédients sont réunis pour un bon moment en famille. À refaire sans hésiter ! Merci pour votre accueil

They need to fix the 'cold' LED lighting. Aside from that, the food was delicious and plentiful.
