Booked into the Holiday Inn and after traveling from Santander we just want an early dinner and bed! But forgot restaurants here do not start serving until 8.30. But it was worth the wait, as we didn't want to get the car back out and try to find somewhere open. The Restaurant De Julian is next door to the Holiday Inn, so it was just so convenient. We had a drink in the bar and were given a tapas each and menus. We had the lamb chops and sea bass both very well cooked and enjoyable. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff.
The restaurant is right next door to Holiday Inn Express and perfect if you've done a lot of travelling. My wife and I ordered the paella which was superb and only €10 pp. We were also given complimentary tapas to nibble on as a starter. The dessert was well presented. The only criticism is on a Monday evening it was very quiet, the room was cold (in Nov) and it lacked atmosphere. It's probably buzzing at a weekend but not on the night we were there. Would recommend it for a very good value meal.
Dined here with a work colleague one evening. The prices seemed quite reasonable so we assumed the dishes were tapas sized and over ordered. The food was all very good and the bill was extremely cheap compared to UK prices. I will dine here again
Despite the language problems, I had a great dinner at this place. I had a beef which was delicious. All the staff expect for the serving woman was smiling and very service minded. They even offered a free starter (fish). I will be back ! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
