Perhaps the best rösti and the best sorbet anywhere! The rösti is expertly done and perfectly crisp on the exterior and cooked through on the inside without being overly oily or salty. The sorbet was amazing with all local fruit (rhubarb, quince, cassis and not overly sweet. I paired my meal with wine from the vineyard surround the restaurant (outdoor seating under the tree was magnificent! and my girlfriend had local cider which was perfectly dry and crisp. with the amis de verbier we visited this restaurant in a fantastic location. perfect view over martigny. They know how they are. we had a very beautiful viande sechee, dried beef, as a super-ruff from liddes. and to Finnish it. a beautiful apricot desert. ice, apricose and abricotin. highly recommended. so nice people!
