The breakfast is also highly recommended, but I suggest arriving early as it tends to get busy between 9:00 and 10:00. The staff's service was remarkable, and I genuinely want to commend them for their warm reception and diligent service.
The photos include our delightful seafood dishes: sea trout, mussels, and scallops with bubble and squeak, followed by a lemon cake with berries and refreshing lemon sorbet. And of course, we enjoyed a traditional English breakfast as well. All in all, an outstanding experience!
Food and Drinks: Living in Alderley Edge and not trying the food here would be a missed opportunity! We ordered the Signature Burger and the Steak Ale Pie, and both were absolutely fantastic—easily a 10 out of 10. The meal was delicious, generously portioned, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and served hot. We loved it and will definitely return. Highly recommended! Had a great stay. It's true what that say the further north you go the friendlier people get. All of the staff, from the hotel to the bar and the restaurant could not do enough to make us feel welcome. The food was tasty and filling. The room had a massive comfatable bed. The bathroom was a little on the small side with everything being crammed in. Not bad but there was a little road noise. A big choice at breakfast with omelette and full English worth a special call out.
Found that there was a good atmosphere in the pub, it had been a few years since I last visited and the interior is much improved. They have a good selection of beers available and whilst the menu is not massive, it does have something to suit most tastes and found the dishes we ordered to be very good. Also found the staff to be excellent, I will be visiting again

beautiful pub with beautiful atmosphere. eating was great today as usual. I love the pate. my friend had the new watermelon and feta salad she said was fantastic. the staff are really nice, especially kiara, which is very friendly and ready to help always dizz to ensure that their customers are happy. freya was also very nice and friendly. we'll be back soon.
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! Our server, Helen, was lovely—very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic, enhanced by great background music. Since it was my birthday, I felt truly special throughout the evening.
