Wanted to stop for lunch, but didn 't want to spend the time to go into Canmore, so we stopped here (easy off the highway for the first time. Traditional truck stop fare, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service was great. My husband had a cheddar bacon burger and it was excellent, as were the fries (home cut? and gravy on the side; I had the not so big omelette (2 eggs 2 ingredients which came with toast home-fries, it too was excellent. We noted the price of gas and were surprised to get back to Calgary and find that gas at Costco was only one cent less per litre (we try to avoid fueling up in Canmore as the gas seems very over-priced . Horrible service from two lazy attendants when I tried to pay for gas in advance. The pump was out of order, so I went inside to see if there was an issue. The two lazy attendants just stared at me and didn't say anything. When I asked again, they just shrugged. This is not the kind of hospitality Alberta is known for. My family stops at this gas station at least 20 times a year, but after this experience, we won't be returning. These employees are truly disappointing.

My husband always wanted to try this diner whenever we passed by it going to Banff, and we finally did. Food was affordable, huge servings and fast service. Great for my husband who always have a big appetite!
Please don't stop by here.. not helpful and unwelcoming lady. First time stopping on this location and the lady is not helpful and very rude grumpy.
