...could I have imagined what my partner and I were served when we dined on our Wednesday night experience.Though the restaurant was relatively new in Zetland, we went in expecting a few teething problems; not the horrible meal we endured. We ordered the meat board for two- roast chicken, bacon, chorizo and shoulder of lamb with a side of fries and lavosh salad. The first teething problem: we were informed that the lamb would not be appearing on the shared board as "the butcher's delivery truck had caught fire, so there was no lamb today". There are so many new restaurants now in the Zetland, Alexandria area. My family and I have our favorites and Degani is now one of them. Our meals were great, large servings and delicious. I nearly didn't order the ribs, we frequent a ribs focused restaurant across the road from Degani which we love. I was a butcher and possibly why I am very fussy regarding meat quality and presentation. I was so excited when the ribs were presented by the owner of Degani. A lovely and very proud restaurateur. The ribs were wonderful, the owner and waitress tried so hard to please and they certainly made the dining experience memorable. A new spot in zetland to eat either inside or out. Wasn't disappointed. My partner enjoyed the fried chicken burger, if you like that type of food. I shared a few tapas dishes with my Daughter, and we enjoyed them. A glass of nice wine to top off the meal. Staff were lovely and the food is reasonably priced. Will eat here again. It's open from breakfast to dinner and your able to take your fury babies with you with a few seats and tables outside. Plenty of room inside with two floors to accomodate everyone.
Away for business for a week, with the choice of restaurants nearby, I kept coming back to Degani's for not only the amazing breakfasts but also the incredible dinner menu! I was never disappointed, the food was consistently of a high standard, beautifully presented and served by great staff. I loved seeing the chef/business owner regularly chatting to the restaurant patrons. All meals were more than reasonably priced, I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough!

Always great food and friendly quick service! We have noticed how popular this restaurant is becoming as more Zetland and Moore Park locals are discovering how great food and service should be. A young vibe, two floors of seating so plenty of space between tables and a bright open atmosphere. I really like how the manager always pays personal attention and genuinely believes in customer first. Highly recommended for either a coffee or full meal anytime.
Great find in Zetland, enjoyed a fresh brunch that is vegetarian friendly and they have great sweet potato fries! Really attentive and quick service and reasonably priced meals. Great extensive menu. Both outdoor and indoor seating available in a tastefully designed cafe and great location. Burgers looked really good at a table nearby will be back to try.
Food was average - has the Zetland brunch. Eggs over cooked, rosti soggy, and haloumi very bland. But the real kicker came when I paid! Despite stickers on the window saying you accept Amex, you had the cheek to charge a 4% surcharge with no mention of this anywhere in the restaurant or on the menu. Won’t be back and have reported to Amex
We enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant both days over the weekend. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The menu had a good variety of options to choose from.

Zetland is my go-to spot for dining. The coffee is excellent, the food is top-notch, and the staff is outstanding. This cozy cafe is welcoming and serves breakfast all day.
After facing the crowds at Boxing Day sales, I had no desire to cook lunch.
