The staff is very friendly and cordial, specifically Anya. When I ordered a Piña Colada it came watered down, no coconut milk, no pineapple...in other words horrible Piña Colada, I explained to Anya and she immediately remedied the issue. She made a real Piña Colada, a better than last. For appetizer we had Calamari and it was fantastic! My wife ordered the Homemade Grilled Sausage with yellow rice and vegetables. The sausage was deliciously made, the rice was tender and flavorful, she had a problem with the veggies, she said that it had no flavor and it seems to be from frozen vegetable bags from supermarket. I had the Stuff Pork Chop-stuffed with ham and provolone and covered in mushrooms...
They’ve done a great job renovating the place, making it look much nicer, but it was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night. They were supposed to have live music, but by 11:30, the singer was just sitting at the bar since there were hardly any customers inside. The food was significantly better than the frozen mashed potatoes and sides I had experienced before, but the drinks were extremely watered down. When we asked our server to address the drink issue, we were given two shots of tequila and charged $16, which felt unnecessary—they should have just fixed the problem right away. The waiter and other staff looked at us as if we were crazy for bringing it up. Overall, this place definitely...
We were very disappointed with this restaurant, particularly with the manager. Our group of five came to have dinner on Saturday night, but the manager told us that everything was reserved for a private party. However, we had made a reservation for 9:00 PM to attend that very party, and we had booked it two days in advance. The person who took our reservation even asked if we preferred a small or high table, but the manager completely ignored us and our reservation. We brought our friends to celebrate and try some Balkan food, but due to one rude individual, our experience was a failure. Please improve your customer service.
Terrible management and customer service. I made a reservation for five people to celebrate my birthday, providing my details and phone number to the man who took my reservation. When we arrived and mentioned our reservation, the doorman told us that there was a private party happening and we couldn’t enter. I asked why they take reservations if they have a private party, and he simply said that he didn’t take my reservation—someone else did. This is unacceptable, and I will never return. This restaurant has recently undergone renovations, and the kitchen has been entirely revamped. The food was incredible; I had the Ushtipec (a dish featuring ground meat with provolone cheese and French fries), which is an authentic dish from Macedonia, along with some oven-baked cheese. To top off the experience, I enjoyed a delicious macchiato.
I have been here many times and I am always amazed at how delicious the food is. I love everything about this place. The atmosphere, the service and the food. They go above and beyond every time. We will definitely be back Deja Vu
