Just back from having Breakfast at Dejeuner Cosmopolitain, its my second time here in a few years. We had a big breakfast wit h two eggs over easy, fruit, bacon and home potatoes and a bagel with cream cheese, mashed home potatoes. Prices are reasonable and food good. Place was very busy and very noisy , and popular with large groups. Service friendly ,very accommodating, but a little slow because of the amount of people. If you want a quiet breakfast , go early in the morning. High recommendation for breakfast, Home potatoes were delicious.
Great, stress free parking. Comfortable atmosphere and seating. Service, so-so.Very extensive menu to choose from. I specifically asked if the banana, peach, pear, crepe was made with fresh fruit and was assured it was. VERY disappointed to receive canned peaches that were a nasty color of orange and green. Come on!! It is the height of fruit season, Ontario peaches in abundance, and you serve canned fruit for a $13.95 crepe? Need I say more? Will not return so fast.
Besides an all encompassing brunch menu, there's comfortable seating and it's quiet enough for conversation among friends. Once served, wait staff vanishes never to return.My theory, it's the only way to ensure that guests receive only single cup of coffee or hot water.But the food is great and the portions large.I'd choose this location as an excellent meeting place when visiting Montreal.
We were just out shopping and got hungry it was past breakfast time but that's what we all wanted so we chose this place, it was very good I had the all meats plate it was perfect came with coffee and orange juice as well, my daughter had the cheddar and bacon crepe looked delicious, staff is very nice and certainly on the ball.

Been to all of the breaky places on the Island (or close!) and Cosmo never fails to deliver. The consistency of the food, week-to-week, is what brings me back. They do poach eggs perfectly! Decent prices, and apart from a couple of older, grumpy waitresses, the staff is fantastic and cheery.
The food is excellent at this restaurant, but it can get quite noisy on weekends due to the large crowds. If you don't mind the noise and are not seeking a quiet, romantic atmosphere, it's definitely worth a visit.
We went for breakfast here on a Thursday we were 2 adults and 2 children age 1+8 food was very good service was even better and there was no extra charge for sharing our plate with the kids.
I ordered the 2 Eggs with Bacon and Potatoes dish, but asked for the bacon to be omitted due to being a vegetarian. The meal also included toast and baked beans.
