Very sad to report this. I had reviewed this retaur before, saying 1/8 times you will get either burnt or undercooked food. Tonight was a disaster. I ordered yellow curry and veggie delight, our normal orders. The curry arrived in a seperate bag, upon opening the bag the lid opened pipinghot with steam and caused a second-degree burn to my thumb. The potatoes were raw. I worked in the rest industry for 17 years. I can assume that since we ordered past 7:45PM, they must have added the potatoes last, microwaved the hell out of it thinking it would be done by the time it reached the customer. We love Thai food. This was our first time in, and we really wanted it to be spectacular and our go-to place when dining out for Thai. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment.My wife's meal was forgotten somehow, and arrived incomplete a good ten minutes after my dinner. I'm not in the habit of eating without my wife, so I waited. By the time the chicken arrived for my wife's dinner a few minutes after that, my dinner had gone cold.I shouldn't have said anything, but I did and my dinner was taken back and microwaved. When we finally started eating the seafood in my dish was tough and chewy, especially the calamari. Likely from the microwave.The whole experience was disappointing.
Unfortunately, all the reviews about the customer service are true. The lady is SO rude, never gives you what you ask for and is always yelling if you ask to make a change of order. I've gone 3 times because I work near by and this Friday she was so mad that I was paying with cash and she was yelling about it. Every time I come she has an attitude. The food is always good but it'd be great if I was allowed to customize my order the way I want it.
We were planning on going to a different restaurant on the Downtown Burien strip, stumbled across Dek Thai, and decided to check it out instead. Boy, am I glad we did! The food was delicious and incredibly fresh, the flavors were perfect, the atmosphere was simple and peaceful, and the service was charming. I had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The Crispy Garlic Chicken was the best I've ever had. It was my first time ordering from here and I can't wait to try more items in the future. The order arrived relatively quickly and at a good temperature. I highly recommend this place and hope others have a similarly great experience. I'm not sure if they offer dining in, but I might give that a try as well.
I’ve just order the chicken satay and the chicken was sour. Called to see if it’s just the seasoning and the lady who answered was rude and gave the excuse of the weather and refrigerating issue. If that’s the case then why even sale it? This could cause a major food illness to the customers. Very disappointed.Food: 1/5
Took a while to for someone to come over and take our drink order even though there was only one other couple in on a week night. But once they came it was all fast and good. The spice level is def higher than most places. A 2 out of 5 was pretty spicy. Appetizer sampler was a good call!
The food was excellent! The Panang curry was rich and flavorful with a definite kick of spice. My only recommendation would be to remember to ask for utensils if needed, as we had to improvise since we were staying in a hotel. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent. It is always served hot and crispy. Just a heads up, their dishes can be spicy!
