I'm so upset. I work across the street and decided to walk to this Del taco to get some lunch and exercise in today. I had been craving the Del carbons and thought I'd treat myself to a milkshake for my walk. Well to my surprise as I'm walking up to the door a staff member opens it and says “we're closed”. Now I can see people inside eating so I'm confused. She stated that I couldn't come in because they are short staff but let me tell you why I'm so hurt and disappointed. I am a proud black (African American) woman. I am well mannered and if I may say so I keep myself well groomed. Usually this Del Taco is on point, but the guy working the late night shift has made multiple errors on my orders on multiple nights now. It's super frustrating (I know, shame on me for believing the guy did his job correctly) to get ready to eat your meal and whatever got put in the bag and handed to you is NOT what you ordered. Or to ask for ketchup and Del Scorcho sauce, be told by the employee at the drive thru window that they're in the bag, and then find out they are not. The only thing in the bag was the wrong darn quesadilla. Not even a napkin. If my last 2 trips to this Del Taco had been my only 2, I for sure would have given a lower rating. This restaurant has serious issues, especially when it comes to employee behavior with food and customer service. I've witnessed staff mistreating food while wearing gloves in front of customers, and many patrons are aware of it. There are numerous problems with the Del Taco locations in this area. They struggle with keeping to their scheduled hours and their customer service is the worst I’ve experienced. I didn’t think it could get any worse, but they’ve certainly proven me wrong.
I visited the restaurant at 5:10 PM on Tuesday and found there was no line at the drive-thru. However, the woman at the window showed little interest in my order and was not particularly helpful. I had requested soft tacos but received hard shell ones instead. To top it off, she shoved my food toward me in a rather rude manner. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We asked for value tacos and this is what we got. The girl did not look happy as we where ordering she had no cars and kept asking if we needed a minute while we where ordering. Never coming back to this location. What made me write this review is that all my tacos hardly had any ingredients especially meat.
I swear the girl took a pic of my card here. White young lady wearing a bun no name tag was holding her phone up then abruptly handed my card after. Even if she didn't take a picture you shouldn't be on your phone while handling cards. If i see a charge on there ima come back in this del taco and meet ya !

The staff was friendly, and the place was clean. The service was quick, and the food was enjoyable. We decided to skip the $2.00 menu, and overall, this was by far the best Del Taco experience we've had.
