This was the worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. The food was barely warm upon arrival and the bag was soaked through. The poppadoms were so wet they were foldable. The customer service was equally as terrible. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was rude, unapologetic, and snotty. We ordered our food at 6:30 in the evening and were told it would arrive at 7:20, but it actually arrived at 8:20. When I asked for a refund because of the long wait, I was told to contact Just Eat. This takeaway restaurant has scored 'one ' on the food hygiene rating, a fact that I was not aware of before ordering on the website. Needless to say, the takeaway do not display this rating, why would they? The staff are friendly, but the food is poor quality and not authentic or well prepared. The sauces were watery, lacked body and had few spices to give it that rich flavour that Indian food needs. We’ve been slowly working our way through all the take always in the area, and were really excited to try somewhere new. The building it’s self is a bit strange- it’s in the middle of a housing estate, and does look very much like a house converted into a kitchen- but we were really impressed by the quality of the food. The food was amazing- fresh, tasty and well seasoned. There were lots of vegetarian options, and the portions were small, but really good value for money. We will definitely be back!
Delicious food and generous portions served by a family-owned restaurant. They have been serving the Richmond community for over a decade, which speaks to the quality of their food. One of the highlights is that their curries are not greasy. The restaurant is located in a quiet residential area away from the town center. I picked up my food and had a nice conversation with the friendly staff.

On a visit to Leyburn North Yorkshire we ordered a takeaway meal from this place as it was our friends favourite takeaway. The food did take a while to arrive but when it did it was good. King prawn jalfrezi, lamb Dansak and Sag Aloo were good. Tasted like traditional Indian food which reminded me of the late seventies! Nan bread were excellent too.
The best king prawn Bengal jalfrey in Richmond is unbeatable. The sweet tomato sauce packs a spicy punch that can't be matched by any other restaurants in town. Other versions are dull, bitter, and lacking in flavor. I highly recommend trying this dish.
absolutely excellent! first ordered from here, and I am now angry that we have waited so long! the food was supplied hot by a nice supplier and is incredibly good. they have definitely won another masterpiece!
order a bengal jalfrey, which is tasty, but also hot. I didn't want something so spicy tonight, so the king chose saag. absolutely one of the best saags I've ever tested. would be highly recommended.
