A new Indian restaurant is always a gamble as I find that they generally fall in to two categories: terrible or amazing. Delhi Tadka fortunately was amazing. We had a mixed entrees to share and it was simply stunning. Surely with how good it was the mains couldn't live up to expectation? But they did! One of the best kormas I've ever had and my partner says his fish saagwala was just divine.It was quiet in the restaurant (although they were doing a heap of takeaway and deliveries) and the service was friendly and attentive. We went here because we didn't feel like cooking and just got takeaway. Since moving to Cairns, we have been looking for a good Indian restaurant and feel like we have finally found one! It's probably a bit more than I would prefer to pay for a curry, but it was definitely worth it because we wanted a curry so badly! I had the jalfrezi and my partner had the vindaloo and the naan's were so amazing. I think we will probably go back - it seems to be the best we've had in Cairns so far.
We tried this restaurant on the advice of some friends and we were very surprised. The food was amazing especially the Vegetable Jhalfrezi which was my dish of the night. If you are looking for some authentic Indian in the Cairns region then this is certainly the place to try.We ordered from Menulog and received a 10% discount on our first order, we have been advised by the same friends that the restaurant is pretty good also. We intend to try that experience soon.
Another best kept secret in Cairns. Nice and tasty quality Indian food. Tandoori chicken was full of flavour and cooked to perfection, not the usual dry reheated stuff you very often get in other supposedly first class Indian restaurants.We also had a delicious lamb Roganjosh and a Fish coconut fry, some garlic Naans and Raita.All in all, if this place would be on the esplanade, you probably would have to book well ahead to get a table.

Really good value for money, fed 2 hungry people for $40.Free delivery is offered but wait time was going to be 90 minutes so we picked up.The restaurant itself is not very glamorous and it's in Earlville which is a way out of town, but for take-away I would definitely recommend.
The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. The food was delicious, especially the Butter Chicken with Pilau Rice, Cheese Nan, and mango lassi. The prices are reasonable (approximately $30). The waitress was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Dined in almost every Indian restaurant in Cairns, and no dish i've tried compares to there Lamb Jalfrezi. Generous portion size with a plentiful amount of succulent lamb pieces. Would highly recommend to anybody seeking quality Indian.
This charming café in the Villeneuve neighborhood has plenty of outdoor seating, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine on a beautiful day. Despite their limited menu, they offer delicious and satisfying choices.

I ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was delicious! The naan bread was also very tasty. Overall, I would say this was the best Indian meal I have had in Cairns so far!
