A hidden gem on the West Island! My wife and I happened upon it by accident, but intentionally return again and again. With melt in your mouth smoked meat and homemade fries to its retro choice of Cott's sodas. Mmm, mmm, mmm! We've only always had the smoked meat but our daughters rave about the daily specials and subs as well. The owner is brothers with Pete, of Smoked Meat Pete's, fame in Ile-Perrot, so you know that your getting the best!The decor is food for the eyes, a no frills blast to the past. The owners are very generous - service with a smile.
We usually go downtown to the famous smoke meat spots, but a local tipped us off about this tiny place. You open the door into a cloud of deliciousness. The wooden Rustic ambiance has clearly been aged by the meat smoking process. The people running the place are lovely and oh so old school québécois. The smoked meat is cured, spiced, and smoked perfectly. The meat is moist and tender. And the accompanying poutine is gooey perfection. Topped it off with a Pepsi. Bonjour Montreal.
We were staying relatively nearby in Laval, just for one night (from Ontario), and the teenager insisted we eat something "authentic" rather than going to Subway. We had absolutely delicious smoked meat sandwiches and smoked meat poutine from Delibee's. Everything was very very tasty, our take-out order was ready quickly, was hot, and was completely accurate. The restaurant was full of character and if we have the chance to return we will eat in.
This is the best smoked meat in Montreal, Schwartz is good, but this is the place that should have a non stop lineup. Go now. Smoked meat done properly, not the plastic stuff other restos buy and steam in house that people think is "Montreal Smoked Meat", this is the real deal folks. Oh and the fries. Yum

Just found out about this place through this app. Great cozy little deli in this cute little neighborhood. Very charming. Tried their smoked meat platter which had the best crispy fries ever. Mium Mium everything. Will definitely be back instead of going all the way to Ile Perrot.
Lors de mes derniers visite la qualité baisse régulièrement. Demande un smok-meat maigre, il ne l'était pas. Un autre visite les frites était tiède. Le salade de choux est mélangé avec des carottes, du céleri et des onions, vraiment pas le colslaw habituelle.
With decor from a 70's sitcom, this little joint offers most typical deli fare. Some dishes lack flavour, and are a bit oily, but you cant go wrong with the pizza, smoked meat or fries. I think I was charged for a coffee refill, which is a bit cheap....
Always smiling service. Smoked meat and fries are good. Nice little spot for a bite. We prefer to pick-up and go. Don't expect quick service though...it's a different pace.

One of the best smoked meat sandwiches I have had not too dry great the portions are very good and the prices are very reasonable will definitely be going back
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The smoked meat was juicy and delicious, comparable to Schwartz's and the Main. Definitely worth the trip!
