I'm a regular at this deli, and while I take initiative in supporting local businesses, they have fallen a little from grace. I ordered via DoorDash because I had credits to use. I placed 2 sandwich orders...mine being an AVOCADO BLT. When I finally sat down to eat my sandwich, there was no avocado. DoorDash couldn't refund me so I reached out directly to the deli. The employee told me it evens out because they put extra bacon on my daughter's sandwich...deflecting from the fact that at the end of the day, my order is still wrong. I would've paid for the price adjustments but it's really disappointing the service I received being a loyal customer.
My son and I stopped by here for the 1st time today, and the service was excellent. The young girl at the register was super nice. She was patient and even said I could show her the IG pics if I couldnt remember the names of the dishes. Many people are not aware the deli is under new management, and their prepared food is yummy and creative. Some items on the menu are new twists on dishes from my homeland, the Dominican Republic. Will def visit again, as I want to try the Maduro boat next
Over priced. $7 for a small breakfast that’s smaller than my hand. Other delis’ would give more for $4 $5. The fried egg wasn’t even “fried”. $3 for a orange juice that cost no more than $1.50 $2 at your average deli $2 water bottle that shouldn’t be more than $1 $1.50. Plus taxes and delivery fee (which is expected) I paid $20 for this meal. Disappointed.
The owners and their family always treat me like one of their own. They are wonderful people, and the food is amazing. You definitely have to stop by for breakfast and lunch. They also serve homemade Dominican dishes, but you have to hurry because they sell out quickly, usually by 3:30 or 4 PM. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I used to visit this place frequently, but now they're charging too much for low-quality food! The staff just seem to be gossiping and chatting instead of focusing on service. My meal was cold when it should have been hot, and the juice was expired! Proceed with caution!
This is definitely the best Dominican deli in NYC. The staff is wonderful, and the food is exceptional. The owner personally welcomes his customers and demonstrates genuine hospitality. You must try the Mangu, as well as any of the hot dishes, shakes, and sandwiches.
This place has some delicious food and Monday- Friday they have home cooked food. Eudus and Alex are friendly and awesome to deal with as is the rest if the staff. Highly recommend this place.
