Fantastic experience all around. Delish is such a warm hearted place with truly some of the best tasting and best presented Ethiopian food in Seattle. Delish (the co owner, along with his wife who is head chef was out on the floor, serving and chatting with customers the whole night, and was super helpful in helping us choose dishes. Shared the veggie platter and veggie rolls with a friend (which were already vegan hooray! and was thoroughly impressed by every single item on the platter. So much care and consideration put into this place. I live near plenty of other Ethiopian restaurants, but I'll be making the trip over here in the future.
The Delish combo at this restaurant is fantastic! The honey wine is also super great. The staff is really nice, although I think they may have forgotten to reserve our 4-person table. It was surprisingly busy on a Wednesday at 6:30, with all the tables filled except for one meant for 2 people. Fortunately, another party left and we eventually got our table. I appreciate the Ethiopian common translations as decor on the big tables. I would only suggest the honey wine for those who enjoy sweet wines, as it is Ethiopian honey wine, which is delicious but very sweet.
Been here a bunch of times, but ordered takeout and got there after a long waiting queue time to find out they hadn’t started my order yet. Food has been good in the past, I am hopeful this time. Also saw another table get served what they didn’t order and were asked if they could just eat that…Yikes. Another group came in halfway through my wait at the restaurant and got their take away already…as I am still waiting. It is a very busy Sat for them, they just aren’t equipped to handle a busy day it appears.
Amazing service! Beautiful design choice and lovely hosts. The first time I had Ethiopian food was with my friend Sam who is featured in these pictures. He flew all the way from Brazil and has been in America for 5 years. We both loved this place! Brought a huge party of people and the piece point for the quality of food was literally amazing. Time at about 6:30pm there wasn't much of a wait for a huge party and I'd honestly go back there again! Thank you for the meal. Only thing I hope for is Sambusa Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My husband and I live in Queen Anne and have driven down here twice and will definitely be back many more times. Best Ethiopian food in the city! The owner is super friendly and has chatted with us on both of our visits. The service is terrific and the food is great. Extra bonus for having the most vegan friendly items of any Ethiopian place I have been to here!
Amazing food! Our server was so kind (our first time having Ethiopian cuisine) and answered all of our questions. The Delish (meat veggie) combo was so good and more than enough for two people. The tables have some Amharic phrases alphabet to learn which I thought was a nice touch. If I'm ever in the neighborhood again I will definitely stop by!
Very Clean Building kinda smaller don't recommd big groups perfect for a date with the other half. The Staff was very Friendly and Pleasant. Defiantly will Come back enjoyed the all around Service. Amazing time Thank You. Good food with Amazing Service!
Please do yourself a favor and go eat at this restaurant if you love Ethiopian food! The food here is amazing, we had the veggie platter with fish. I wish I would have remembered to take a pic before we started eating but you get the idea. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We went to check this place out after reading about it in the Seattle Eater 38. It’s got a casual, cozy, hole in the wall vibe. The food was delicious. We got the veggie and meat combo platters. Everything was excellent we will be back!
