Deluxe French Fries

This isn't a review as such of a recent visit but more like a summary of the last 50 years of eating at Deluxe. It started when after high school I attend college in the city where they originated Moncton, NB(with 2 shops as I recall). and continues to this day when they now have shops open in several NB cities. We go to their shops in Fredericton and I have to say I find the quality varies at one of their locations where as the Prospect St. location is very consistent not sure why that is. Like someone else said I miss the Malt vinegar. Tried others including the "Best" fish and chips in Maine(reviewed) and keep going back. Visited three times over the course of a month.Had burgers twice, and a poutine the third time.Burger's were your regular frozen ones, cooked on the grill. They tasted fine, but both times the fries were just brown chalky sticks that were either burnt, or left in too long. (The fries were also pretty greasy)The poutine was not a good experience. About a third of my fries were inedible due to being overcooked. The poutine gravy came from a plastic bag, which was microwaved. (I watched it tossed into the microwave, then be poured over) and the cheese was really cheap cheese curds, and not a very generous amount either.Not exactly my restaurant of choice, unless it was one of the only places ar...

I have recently moved from Charlottetown to Fredericton. I have been on a search for a Fry Truck French Fry experience that matches the Best Fries on PEI….Someone recommended Deluxe French Fries. As they do fresh cut their fries on property. This is a step up from a McDonalds or Wendy's…in so much as it is a "fast food restaurant" …. But the food is SOOOO much better. The french fries are decent. They are clearly fresh cut….not frozen like so many other restaurants. They serve Fish and Lobster as well. I had the Fish and Chips and it was quite good. I definitely would return. But the fries were still not the Chip Truck experience I was looking for. So my search continues.

This place is the best home-made fries at any of their restaurants. They have fresh and chips, home-made club sandwiches, clams and chips, lobster, and much more. A fair price with specials each day. The service was good and restrooms were very clean. Serving sizes have good size portions. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, we will always return for more. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

If you are looking for fast food that tastes homemade, this is where to go. It is nothing other than what it claims to be - a fish and chip joint. But in a city like Fredericton that is far from the ocean, this is your absolute best bet for good fish and chips. I have always found the service to be great and the portions to be generous here.

A little expensive for a large family but the food was quick...hit and fantastic....they had an extensive menu...it would have been nice to see some malt vinager on the tables for the fish but it's a great place to eat

Went with friends there to try, but in the end we spend a lot of money and no drinks were included, the burger was not good, bellow the average of Fredericton. And why they don't have drive thru?

Deluxe fries are the best fries anywhere in the world. They are fresh cut and have a very unique and great taste. Hands down the best.

Very good fish and chips the tartar sauce was really good one of my top favorites. The service was very fast.
