I always have a fantastic experience at this restaurant. I ordered the filet mignon with a lobster tail, but I was a little disappointed because I only received half of the tail. In the past, I've always had a whole tail. On a positive note, the filet mignon was cooked perfectly to my order, medium and juicy. However, I was let down by the vegetables, as the dish now comes with broccolini, which is a genetically modified hybrid of asparagus and broccoli and lacks flavor. The loaded baked potato was excellent, and I also had a Bloody Mary that was just okay. On the bright side, the service was outstanding. I’ll definitely be returning for more!
I enjoyed an amazing evening here after work with friends. For an appetizer, I chose the oysters on a half shell which was about $30 and I also ordered a bowl of crab gumbo which was about $15. Both were really good. The crab gumbo had plenty of crab in it and it was very tasty. I ordered tea to drink and the waiter was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. I will definitely go back for happy hour or anytime honestly.
Waited about 45 to be seated. We had a party of 11 so it was understood. Server came and took our order in a timely manner. Got our margaritas and appetizers right away. The meals took longer and then only a few got their meal and the other waited another 20mins for theirs. The drinks were good and food was ok, I probably won’t come back. Overpriced for the food, and drinks.
I highly recommend making an afternoon reservation to avoid the crowds. Our server, Eduardo, was excellent, managing multiple tables with ease. He was accommodating and attentive to all our needs. The absolute worst experience! I ordered the Grilled Half Chicken only to break it open and find out it was under cooked and still bleeding! After eating pieces and discovering this, it literally made me sick! Manager gave me a PARTIAL REFUND on my meal, like blood didn’t get on the other food items! I will never order here again!
The atmosphere is pleasant, but the lighting choices leave much to be desired. The service is decent, but I highly recommend making a reservation—don't go without one. The food is quite good. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.
