Oh boy, Denny's!! This place is an absolute joke. I took my dad and daughter here for dinner. We walked in and all seemed okay. There were a few customers but definitely not busy. We were seated pretty quickly and our drink order taken without incident. We ordered our food and waited a very long time. I asked our server to check on it. She informed me that the cook called off and the manager was cooking. Our order hadn't even been started and would likely be another 45 minutes to an hour. I couldn't believe what she said next. The kitchen was very backed up with to go orders. I am not the smartest person in the world but why wouldn't you stop taking to go orders? I don't know perhaps wait on...
Honest to God. The workers here do not get paid enough. My party of 8 came in at 130AM. We just had finished up our friends 23rd birthday. And we went to Dennys because that's the only thing that was open and sounded good. We saw 2 workers. And they were cranking out meals as fast and as hard as they could. The one male that morning served us with the best service he had. They honestly deserve raises. Him and the other server. Both of them were on server duty/cook/ probably every station
The 1 star is not for the young man that was left to run this place by himself only 3 days into his job there. This 1 star review is for whoever operates this place. Consider yourself lucky to have him as he was very calm under pressure and very apologetic. But the fact that you’d put him in this position is a direct reflection of how poor an employer you people are. I hope he quits. There are plenty of better jobs out there. 2 stars just because we wait and get our food. the food was lukewarm, and left a very strange after the taste in our mouth. the service was, now we waited for it, is about everything I can say. the herren's room looked like it had not been cleaned in about a week (from the budding paper towels, literally on the floor.) was delighted to eat at a denny's. This will happen last time.
I was passing through Collinsville the other day and almost drove right bye Dennys just off 55. There are some tall vegetation.That put aside, I was seated immediately and had a water shortly after being seated.I ordered the French toast Grand Slam. It arrived quickly with plenty of syrup in a large decanter. My eggs were cooked properly, the bacon and sausage also.
We had a great experience. Our server was the only server working, so she was very busy, but she was doing an AWESOME job.Sadly, I can’t remember her name, but for as many tables as she had, she was very upbeat, very funny, and very pleasant.As well, I’ve been to a few different Denny’s locations, and this one had the best food and service in my opinion thus far.
Sunday, 20juni22 I went to treat myself to the Sunday brunch! I had a delicious, very tasty breakfast with caffe orange juice! the personal was very attentive keeping my coffee cup full! I give 5 star to the young man who’s running all place after 9pm on Monday 11, 2022. Amazing, kind, and hard working kid. Only 1 star for other ones whose was absolutely not helping at all and show up after we helped him. I don’t know what is going on with this place. Very disappointed. Bravo for the young man!
