A few weeks prior to this visit, the food was kinda okay. It took forever to get service and then it took along time to get served. I can't really get to mad, the people that I was with decided to pick the back area, where they have a memory problem, if it would've been busy, that's kinda a different story. But they forget your alive and you probably could leave without paying and leaving their tip. But this time, I chose where we were going to sit. My mistake, we were right next to the Kitchen, where there was no way they can't possibly forget we were there. Wrong ! My son fell asleep. If that tells you any thing. We kept it brief. My wife and I took our four grandkids out for dinner. They love their Denny's in Rancho Cucamonga, so we decided to take them to our local Denny's on Azusa Avenue in West Covina. The food was great, but unfortunately, our waitress had a really bad attitude—she was rude and seemed lazy. It definitely affected our experience. I'm still leaving a good tip because that's important to us, regardless of the service. However, it does influence whether we would choose to come back. The manager had to step in to improve the service, which was concerning. I hope the manager can turn my negative experience into a positive one. There is nothing bad to say about a all American diner chain. Soon as I walked in greeted by server and directed to my table. He took my order right away since I knew what I wanted already. I only had limited time for my break. From sitting down, taking my order, and receiving my food. I was in and out within 30 minutes. My food was fresh and very delicious, no complaints at all. Plenty of parking space in a big shopping plaza near and far from Danny's. The tables were all clean and sanitized. The mens restroom was very clean as well.
My family and I enjoyed breakfast at this Denny's while traveling in the area. It was easy to get to and park. The food was fine, we had traditional breakfast choices, eggs, bacon sausage, etc. We've had less than stellar experiences at some Denny's, so we appreciate each one has its own management staff, and this staff was great and the busy restaurant seemed well run and clean. I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I went today for breakfast and found them to be a bit busy. However, our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive without showing any signs of frustration. He took our order quickly, and we enjoyed a peaceful meal. In the end, we left feeling very happy and satisfied with our food.
Denny's on Azusa in West Covina near Big Lot's has a waiter named Rigoberto who is horrible. I've had him twice and he has failed both times. He never brings everything at once, you have to ask for what you want and by the time he brings it, the rest of the food is cold. If you happen to go there, please stay away from his section.
It takes a least 39 40 minutes to even get a waiter to acknowledge your existence ! After that prepare to wait at least an hour to get your order taken on a slow Saturday night at midnight . Overstaffed with most of its employees just on their phones or taking to one another

my boy cayetano was amazing as a server. he kept serviettes on the table and all our drinks full, we were in a group of 3. eating was great and service was great.
