This unassuming coffee spot made the best latte I've ever had. When I stepped inside, the air of calm and relaxation hit me, with almost every antique chair and sofa stuffed with patrons. Huge shout out to Sam. They were so charming and disarming, with a sincere love for coffee and working at Desert Wind. They took my order, recommended a very aromatic and floral Tanzanian roast to try, and immediately made me feel not only welcome, but appreciated. A half pound of coffee was $10, which is an absolute steal considering the costs of their competition. My peanut butter cup latte, which I ordered because it's so easy to mess up and make into a milkshake, was smooth as silk and the perfect drink...
I 'm absolutely disgusted by this place!!! There were maggots in the Just Bananas that my wife ordered in store and bit into. Maggots. How negligent do you have to be to allow this to happen to the foods you serve? My wife has been throwing up all morning and is nauseated. We 're very patient people with food businesses employees it 's not easy operating a restaurant. Small food in our hair? We let it slide. Incorrect order received? No big deal. Bad service? Desert Wind Coffee is a bit off the beaten path in an area about 15 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. My partner and I came here for our morning coffees. I ordered a hot latte, and my partner ordered an iced latte. We thought the coffees were great. They were flavorful and bold. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and decor. They have some decorations that are inspired by the Breaking Bad tv series. I thought that was cool. We didn't try the food at that time. Possibly next time. I definitely recommend their coffee!
Desert Wind Coffee Shop is not your typical coffee place; it is definitely more old-school. I think the focus here is on the roasting of their beans, which I have come to buy several times. I do like it; it's a good roast on the beans. It's a very chill and casual place with comfortable couches and a place to hang out, have conversations, and enjoy some coffee. Finally, a coffee place that does very low sugar and natural flavors instead of filling half the cup with artificial sugar syrups. Lighting fast service too, i don't think we were inside for 5 minutes to get two coffees. Will definitely be back.
The organic coffee is so good. I can smelled the coffee while I was drinking ,and it so great testly! Highly recommend! Must try !!!!
