Leicester has a plethora of established and new Indian dining choices, in particular the “ pub curry” types of which this is one. I had wanted to visit here for quiet a while and quiet frankly, I wish I hadn’t. Firstly the positives.. There aren’t any. Now the rest.. This place doesn’t accept cards. Cash only. So one of us had to leave the restaurant and find a cash point and then come back. This is 2022, not 1974. We were seated in what is effectively a pub. Nothing wrong with that. Except we were placed in the immediate vicinity of the rather unsavoury locals who only drink here and subjected to some pretty disgusting language. The table adjacent to us had a large family celebrating a birt...
Trying to find something positive to say but it’s very difficult after the disappointing meal we’ve just received. The “ onion salad” was just badly chopped raw onion, the curries were awful... so salty to be almost inedible and the onion bajhis were falling apart...a waste of £35 as most of it went in the bin, along with the menu to make sure we don’t order from here again :
Food was bland and not spicy at all, only decent thing was the chilli mogo and paneer. Waited nearly an hour to get mains after starters, so the service was slow and disappointing. I'd heard good things before I went but was not impressed on my first (and last) visit.
the interior of this restaurant is not quite impressive, but eating is very good. would have been on this place already some paints also ordered rippers, on each time, eating was really good. also the staff is very helpful.
