I give 2 starts because the cake tasted good but I wanted the cake to look like what I ordered from their website. First big issue was they added strawberries and the cake was for my mom and she doesn't like strawberries. What if someone is allergic to strawberries. And because the top of the cake was covered in hardened chocolate I couldn't easily remove them and would ruin the top of the cake so I had to present the cake to her with strawberries on top. The strawberries didn't look good. Small and tasted bitter like not ripe. The cake advertised on their website did not have the entire top of the cake in chocolate ganache. If I could give this place 10 stars, I definitely would! I requested a cake, and they exceeded my expectations. I absolutely LOVE the cake I ordered for my daughter's birthday. The staff was incredibly patient with me, guiding me through the entire process since I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted. Their customer service was outstanding. Dessetworks made the most stunning cake for our January wedding at Fairmont Copley Plaza. I shared a photo of a cake I loved from Pinterest, and they brought it to life even better than I had hoped. It was the most unique and perfect cake—absolutely delicious! They even included a miniature replica for our first anniversary, which was a delightful surprise. We worked with Dessert Works for our wedding as a part of a package with the Four Points by Sheraton, Norwood. Ashley and the rest of the team were so great to work with, and our cake was absolutely perfect. So many people complimented it and told us it was one of the best wedding cakes they had ever had. Dessert Works baked our wedding cakes — one regular and one gluten free — and they were absolutely stunning, and delicious! Working with the Dessert Works team was an absolute breeze, even through countless postponements and adjustments due to the pandemic. The best part?? They bake a MINI CAKE for you to take home with you post-wedding!! I cannot recommend Dessert Works more!

We have a free cake tasting that was fun and helpful to decide our cake taste. The guests mentioned how good the cake was. I would work with them again if I had given the chance!
You do beautiful work! We have ordered a cake for a baby shower and they have perfected my vision. Super helpful staff. You take the time to understand what you are looking for. The cake was delicious and the texture was light and fluffy. Very recommended!
The cakes are beautifully decorated and very tasty. I've bought small treats as well as served 5 of their big cakes at a party. They are always a hit and receive numerous compliments.
