During our visit, the owner was exceptionally rude and unprofessional. We were excited to try their juices, but she immediately scolded my partner for supposedly not saying "good morning" or "happy Sunday." She escalated the situation unnecessarily, claiming she was just joking, which was clearly not the case. Then, she instructed her staff to add an extra shot of "calm down" to my boyfriend's drink, making us uncomfortable about how our order would be handled. When someone is confrontational right from the beginning, it’s natural to go into defense mode, even though I remained calm and respectful. A bit of self-reflection can make a huge difference; everyone has off days, and recognizing that with an apology is essential. I truly want to support Black-owned businesses. While some are fantastic, others, like my experience with you, come across as aggressive and unprofessional. If I had received similar treatment at a grocery store, I certainly wouldn't return.
I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. One of the staff members was incredibly rude to me for no apparent reason. I was just trying to enjoy some good drinks and support the local community when she confronted me for not responding loudly enough to her "Happy Sunday" greeting. When I told her that I had responded, she accused me of taking her joke too seriously. It felt completely uncalled for, and if they would prefer that I not be there, they should just say so.
I had completely forgotten just how vibrant New York City can be. I hadn't been there in a while, and it was such a wonderful surprise. The woman at the farmer's market was incredibly charming. Her stall was overflowing with a fantastic variety of Jamaican products and much more.

I really adore this restaurant! The staff, the food, and the ambiance are all excellent. I'm thrilled that Elmont has such a hidden gem. I particularly love the green goddess shake and the "man drink" with sea moss. It's a wonderful experience all around!
This is a very welcoming place that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for organic and healthy food choices. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about wellness and nutrition for a healthy lifestyle!
