Dies ist das älteste und traditionsreichste Restaurant in Bad Nauheim. Das Innere verleiht einen besonders gemütlichen Charme. Unser Hotelrezeptionist empfahl uns dieses Restaurant, nachdem wir ihm mitgeteilt hatten, dass wir die lokale traditionelle hessische Küche ausprobieren wollten. In seiner Empfehlung enthalten war eine Liste von Gerichten, die wir unbedingt probieren sollten. Ein sehr netter, freundlicher und höflicher junger Kellner kommunizierte bei unserer Ankunft fließend auf Englisch mit uns. Trotz fehlender Reservierung hatten wir Glück, dass der Kellner uns an einen Tisch setzte, an dem bereits einige andere Leute saßen. Sowohl der Service als auch das Essen waren wirklich gut...

Mit dem Biergarten im Winter geschlossen, hat das Restaurant begrenzten Platz. Zum Glück für mich ist Bad Nauheim kein sehr lebendiger Ort, also gab es selbst an einem Samstagabend um 20 Uhr noch Platz für einen weiteren Gast. Die Atmosphäre ist typisch deutsch, mit Gruppen von Menschen, die fröhlich Tische teilen. Die Speisekarte ist nicht sehr umfangreich, bietet aber genug Optionen, besonders für diejenigen, die die lokale hessische Küche probieren möchten. Die Preise sind sehr moderat. Mein Schnitzel für 6,50 € war riesig und sehr gut zubereitet. Extras müssen separat bestellt werden. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Erfahrung in mit Abstand dem ältesten Restaurant in dieser kleinen Stadt.

We went there as a group of 8 for beers and also for dinner. Their menu is somewhat limited, but this is not a restaurant, more like a pub with a decent menu (for a pub). Most of us tried their traditional liver dish. It was surprisingly good! As for the beers, we mostly drank Löwenbräu. My German friend explained to me that this is a seasonal beer for the Oktober Fest and he thought it was pretty nice that they had it there. Service, was OK, but we had to try to get the waitress' attention to have our beers refilled. Decorations around the place are also interesting.

If you are looking for gourmet food in a fine dining environment, this is not what you want. If you are looking for great traditional foods, served in a traditional environment this is the place to go. The restaurant is not particularly large inside so it can be very cozy. Having been a regular traveller to Bad Nauheim over the past 15 or so years, this is a favourite restaurant for a great down to earth dinner at a reasonable price. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

This restaurant in not really a restaurant it is more like a unique pup with excellent food cooked by the wife of the owner.You will find outstanding German food,with Hessen specialities.The atmosphere is unbeatable,no table move together.This is a must see Gasthaus with unique ceilings and an outstanding Aeppelwoi,wich is a hessian specialty.Order the Rippchen with Sauerkraut,you will not regret it.

Das Deutsche Haus ist eines der ältesten Restaurants in Bad Nauheim. Es liegt nur wenige Schritte vom zentralen Marktplatz entfernt und befindet sich in einem traditionellen Fachwerkhaus. Hier sieht man das Deutschland aus den alten Zeitschriften und Instagram-Bildern. Das Essen ist traditionell deutsch und ausgezeichnet. Es gibt auch romantische Gartenplätze zum Sitzen.

The atmosphere is typical German. The waitresses speak English and German, and are helpful in making meal suggestions. The food is top drawer. The beer, of course, is wonderful. The whole staff made my wife and me feel like family.
