My absolute favorite restaurant in Hartford. An unassuming hidden treasure, its enticing aromas luring you in from blocks away. The food is both bold and subtle, hearty and with invigorating spice. Favorite items are the Lamb Pepper Masala, Dal Soup, and their Samosas; but anything on the menu is a great choice. The hospitality and warmth one is greeted with is as fulfilling as the meals. Dhaba Wala is a must visit for anyone looking for Indian cuisine, or for delicious food in general.
Don't underestimate this small restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the Indian food was. My dad has been to many and expressed that this was his favorite. Portions were large and the food was excellent. The person at the register was very helpful in helping us order.
Delicious. Very good customer service. Gentlemen at the reception gave my 2 years old free cookies, twice: family-like atmosphere. Everything was excellent. We waited less than 10 minutes for our meal.
AMAZING and authentic Indian food in downtown Hartford. Portions are ginormous. The owner is very friendly. You will not be disappointed!
