So how good does a place need to be to get people to queue for 3/4 of an hour at lunch for a sandwich, a really hood consistent sandwich, a great offering of a variety of different breads and fillings, staff that make you feel a regular after one visit, staff that start work at 5 and keep a smile all the way through the day. This place has been open since 1911 and if it stays the same will see another 10 years. The food is great, the staff are better. Unfortunately I leave London tomorrow evening, but one last lunch tomorrow
I kept seeing long lines of businessmen in front of Di Lieto and so after a couple weeks I decided to try it and I see why there is always a line from 12-1:30!! Not only are the sandwiches only 4.95, but they are also really good and filling. Great spot for a quick, cheap, delicious lunch.
The sandwiches at this restaurant are excellent value for the price. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. This is the top spot for a quick and delicious lunch in the area.

This sandwich shop is fantastic. It can get crowded, but the line moves quickly. The sandwiches are delicious and most are priced at £4.95.
You won't find a better sandwich shop in London for the prices. Sandwiches are packed out to the rafters. I wish they done pasta as well!
