During our stay at a nearby bed and breakfast, the owner recommended The Dial Inn to us. We were extremely grateful that she did. The restaurant was beautifully clean and the customer service was exceptional. My girlfriend and I both ordered the fish and chips, which were absolutely delicious. The fish had a great batter, the chips were triple-cooked, and the homemade tartare sauce was delightful. The food and atmosphere were so wonderful that we decided to make a reservation for the next evening while we were still dining. We didn't stay, but we ate as a family in the bar area. Excellent choices on the specials board and on the menu. A bit more upmarket than the usual pub grub and very tasty indeed. Useful off road parking and a lovely, large pub garden and outdoors bar for sunny evenings. Service: 5 Location: 4
I haven't been to this restaurant in years, but was pleasantly surprised. The decor was nice and we received a friendly welcome. We ordered a three course meal and enjoyed the tasty food. I will definitely recommend this place and will be returning in the future.
