I was looking for a good barbecue place, which is hard to find in my town so I came across dickeys barbecue I called and place my order the girls will check. My order was nothing but patient and pleasant to perfection. Her name is.Cesia while I made my order with her my order came with several sides. I didn?t know what to pick so I allowed her to pick them. And everything she picked was on point perfect and delicious. Upon arrival the place was very clean and I was greeted very pleasantly by all staff. This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment you step inside and smell the delicious food, to the first bite that leaves your taste buds thanking you, it's an incredible experience. The southern hospitality is truly alive here—John, one of the owners, took the time to explain the menu to us since it was our first visit, and he made sure we got our ice cream on the way out. I had the brisket, and it was incredibly tender and flavorful! As for the kids, my 10-month-old loved the mac and cheese and the chicken nuggets she was served—definitely two thumbs up from her!
The food here is fantastic, but it tends to get cold quickly. The staff won't serve you your meal until you've paid, which can take about 5 to 10 minutes if you're in a group. The cashier was a young woman, maybe in her early 20s, with black hair and an AirPod in her ear. I don’t mind it personally, but I can see how it might not reflect well on the business. That said, this is the best BBQ out east! The food is incredible, and the rest of the staff is entertaining and makes dining here a fun experience.
As for the hand-cut French fries, they were dry and burned, which was disappointing. I'm puzzled as to how this place is still open. While I don't blame the young staff, I feel the owners should reconsider their involvement. It seems they've retired and taken this on as a hobby without any real commitment or care for the establishment. Perhaps they should stay retired if they aren't willing to put in the necessary effort to keep the place running properly.

The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The owner came to our table to welcome us to her house . She gave us a brief description of the place and plans to open another spot in Hauppauge. The food was very tasty! I tried the Pork Out Platter. I wished it came with corn bread instead of a dinner roll. I would definitely go back.
We visited this restaurant for a date night, and we were thoroughly impressed with the food. At first, we were unsure as we walked in and saw it was empty, but we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. If you haven't been here yet, it's definitely worth a visit!
THE BEST! Food was absolutely delicious, pulled pork was so juicy and tender, and the original sauce had the perfect combination of flavors, paired with a creamy mac and cheese, the meal was to die for!
$16 chicken caesar and 25 lunch entrees no wonder they don?t put prices on their website. Not worth it. you?ll have empty pockets and an empty stomach with these portions.

Great Brisket and Pulled Pork. Fantastic staff, very friendly. There is plenty of parking and the bathrooms are super clean. I highly recommend stopping by this location.
