The restaurant has undergone significant improvement thanks to the new chef, and Mike is exceptional at ensuring that customers' needs are always met. The food is outstanding! There's a wide variety on the menu, and the atmosphere is fantastic, whether you're dining with family or friends (be sure to check out the lounge for drinks). The prime rib is delicious, but don't miss out on their wings – they're absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning!
The beer selection is quite impressive, and the wings are both large and delicious. They’re also affordable on wing night! I found the Bison burger to be a bit overcooked, but I prefer it that way. It was messy—definitely needed a knife and fork—but it was really good. Some of the others at our table ordered steaks, which were a bit undercooked, but the staff promptly put them back on the grill to fix the issue.
If you find yourself in Sioux Lookout, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a chance. The establishment has seen different owners in the past, which is reflected in earlier reviews. However, the current ownership is really doing a great job. I tried the grilled salmon, and it was fantastic! The restaurant wasn't too crowded during my visit, and the service was quite good.
