We were fortunate to have great weather and sat outside, which was a definite plus for me. The staff appeared nice, but that's where my rating fell a bit. It was not overly busy that night, but it took 20 minutes to receive my drink after ordering a craft beer to start. Even with a limited menu selection for our group, the food orders took too long as well. Diego's offers amazing cocktails and food. Their cocktails are top-notch and worth the extra cost. The salads are delicious, and I especially enjoy their quesadillas with snap peas - adding lobster makes it even better. Despite usually avoiding quesadillas in restaurants, Diego's is an exception due to their great quality. Keep in mind that the restaurant can get very busy in the summer, so planning ahead by visiting early in the day or evening may be best for families with young children or elderly diners. The cuisine is Baja Mexican and may surprise some with its spiciness, which can be balanced out with a side of sour cream. Overall, the food is fresh and tasty.
what a dirty place I've been here many times and it was really okay in that, but I had a terrible experience this time. I went there with a few people and tried to start ordering a pitcher of margaritas and dinner. we were cut off before the appetizer was even ordered. from no reason! one of my girls said there were 6 of us, but there were only 5. we were with many other people before we went to the dinner restaurant and they didn't know how many of us actually went to the restaurant. but a simple misunderstanding means that they are too drunk to be served. a simple conversation about the problem with the manager was pointless. what an idiot....read more
Pretty good. This was my first time in Rhode Island and we decided we had a craving for some Mexican. We were told it would be an hour wait to be seated inside, while it was a little cool we decided to sit outside the wait was only 15 minutes. The selection was pretty good and they were able to accommodate for vegetarian substitutions. The food was only warm but it was pretty tasty, their nachos were good. The salsa cups were small but you got a large serving of guacamole.

great place for cocktails and small bites. service is somewhat slow, but it is a relaxed atmosphere that offers this type of style. I would definitely go back and also try the upper shots, we just sat down the bar. the decor is excellent and fits in the restaurant style.
Unfriendly service, loud. We came in as a party of three to spend some time at the Bar and were greated by very unfriendly Bar tenders. The place was not busy, so we left since we were not welcome. Very rude Manager!
good is delicious, but they stopped my favourite dish (the lobster avocado salat, please bring it back! the drinks are too expensive, but good and the experience is good. I recommend their nachos!
Awful experience. I will not return. The fish tacos had dried fish and were almost inedible. There was nothing special about the meal that would make me want to come back.
