I haven't been to this restaurant in a few years due to moving away. Before the pandemic, I used to work in Seattle, near 8th Avenue, and I would frequent a nearby coffee shop called Dilettante that unfortunately closed down. I really missed their unique coffee drinks that weren't offered at other places like Starbucks and Peet's Coffee. I'm happy to report that this coffee stand has taken its place. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, with the option to cozy up to a fireplace. They offer a variety of snacks and sandwiches, as well as their own delicious chocolates which they incorporate into some of their coffee drinks. Great little coffee shop. The scones were delicious. Hubby liked his coffee and my hot chocolate was just okay. They have a numbering system for how much chocolate flavour you want. I went with milk chocolate since I 'm not a dark chocolate fan. In my personal opinion, that was steamed milk that was only kissed by chocolate. Not enough flavour to actually call it chocolate. So if you 're a chocolate fan, order a higher number than the milk chocolate!
I chose this restaurant for a blind date meet-up. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was clean, and the coffee was decent. My only complaint is that there was too much foam and not enough coffee in my drink. They have yummy treats and non-coffee drink options that are kid-friendly.

This charming café has a cozy atmosphere and offers good service. However, the wait for drinks was a bit slow. I would consider coming back to this place if I were in the area again.
The coffee at this charming cafe in a picturesque neighborhood is top-notch. However, the pastries are lacking in quality, appearing to be made with cardboard.
Starbucks employee are way nicer, these people almost seemed annoyed that we can in and they had to work. Unfortunate also that the coffee was sub par.
