The food was excellant. The waiters were polite, apologetic. But the waiting time was unacceptable of 1 hour a 1/4. The reason given was thst the kitchen was overwhelmed with takeouts etc. We were 7 people on a Saturday night the only ones in the restaurant. We at 1st were surprised, but realised why in the end. We just got an apology, with not even a free drink offered or some money back on the bill. Its a shame as we like the food, but wont go there again. We brought visitors from abroad. But it left a distaste for restaurants in the area.
The food, staff and atmosphere in this restaurant are fantastic. I meet up there with my brother and four son's about once a quarter as it is easy for us all to get to. From the outside you may think to not go in as the building itself doesn't look very inviting but don't be put off we have never had a bad experience there and I am very surprised by the two poor reviews I have seen and wanted to give our experiences there.
I took my family to this restaurant for dinner on Boxing Day. From the moment we walked in, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and polite, and the food was fantastic. We are regulars here and the quality is always top-notch. I highly recommend this place. I don't even know where to begin with this review. The person taking orders was absolutely useless and rude. The food was terrible, I wouldn't eat there again even if it was free for life. There are so many better places to get a decent curry than this dump. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place if you don't want to eat bad food served by unfriendly staff. THE WORST curry I have ever experienced. Watery, cold and completely tasteless. Try it for yourself and you’ll know I’m not making this up. How on Earth is this place even a thing First time and most definitely our last. Do the decent thing, either sort it out or shut your doors for good. People deserve far better for their money than the garbage I have just experienced.
This restaurant serves the best korma I have ever had, along with delicious onion rice and the best chips. The staff are friendly and I especially love the mint yogurt. The fiery chicken chili starter is hot and tasty, and the prawn cocktail starter is also exceptional.
Used this restaurant for take out before as it's local. However found the mains far too salty and very similar in taste although supposedly different meals! Doesn't encourage me to return. Shame.

Superb 'neighbourhood ' curry house. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Superb menu with a few unusual choices. Nice and clean. Food was outstanding.
