What an amazing portion of cod and chips. Quite literally the best I've ever had. You have to expect to wait for the food to be cooked to order, which isn't long to be fair. You will not be disappointed. Huge portions, lovely batter, perfect chips. All served by a friendly chip shop owner who needs some more locals to keep him open. We were passing through, and took a detour because Dilton Chip Shop has the best reviews in the area. It was worth the drive and the short wait for freshly cooked food.
I had a large cod and chips very well cooked chips are out of this world I will go back again and I would recommend to anybody go and meet the old chat there yeah it is fantastic clean tidy everything you expect go on visit it I dare you add recommend to anybody to go to this place
Such a lovely guy serving and making the food. It was nice to put the salt and vinegar on myself. Great crispy batter, not too thick, and freshly cooked. Just wish I lived in the area so I could be a regular!

After 30 minutes waiting I gave up and went home. It might have been funny if it hadn't been so tragic.
