Dimitri's is known for the best and affordable place for greek food specially. You can also enjoy seafood, Pasta, Salad and gyro donair here. Coming to the ambience, when you enter the place you feel like as if you are in a greece. All the walls are painted with blue color of the sea. All the pictures hanged on wall also go well with the color and description of this place. Order: In Appetizers, we had Keftedakia (Greek meatballs) served with your choice of pita or garlic bread and tzatziki sauce. Zouzouki Pita wrap: Sausage with onion, tomato and tzatziki sauce wrapped in a pita was a delicious meal to have. 6/10 food. Horrible service. Zero cutlery on table. Had to ask for it. Our waitress never checked on us or asked if we needed anything. While we were eating 45 minutes before closing they shut off half the lights, was extremely awkward. The food was ok, their tzatziki sauce was not fresh, and didn't taste home made. Their potatoes were not freshly cooked. Their moussaka was not traditional and very dry. We asked for extra sauce. Did not receive it. No refills on drinks. Waitress was lifeless and bland. Barely spoke to us when we did see her. Overall I wouldn't suggest.
Dimitri's has a fun family like atmosphere. The service was friendly and prompt. Food was everything you would expect from a Greek restaurant. This was my second visit and tried Donair on pita as well as the meat trio platter. The cold plate appetizer had a little bit of everything. Couldn't wait to dig in to my left overs the next day. Highly recommend if visiting or if you love Greek!
The service, the food and I love the ambiance. I'm not from here, second time visiting Fredericton and second time order this authentic food. Highly recommend this restaurant!!
