Dining At Element Kitchen

noise levels were high although there were not many people in the restaurant. the service was slow. we ordered food and drink at the same time and eat before the drinks arrived. we had to ask for a crippled water several times. you al10 clubrabatt is misleading. it says £10 welcome voucher, 10% discount on meals. it should not be mentioned that they will receive the £10 voucher at their first visit and the 10% on meals at later visit.

on 27 november we booked a table for eight on a Sunday lunch application. we were received from them. we were the only customers in the whole restaurant. we waited while the table was set to our party, we found that during our visit there were no additional diners in the restaurant. the food proportions were small and not good, we are native and we like to support local businesses that we like to eat.

the service was quite fast and fast, although at the time there were very few other diners; the food was good and enjoyed by all parties. I was disappointed to say that Parmesan cheese would cost extra with the Pasta bowl, and that the staff would not direct our attention to the discount offer for hotel residents. these topics were advised to the hotel management.

We stayed at the Comet Hotel, making it very convenient for us to dine there. We also invited my son and his wife to join us. We had a wonderful evening, and the food was well-prepared and offered great value. This place is perfect for a quick meal and a nice, quiet conversation. We would definitely eat here again. The place is a gem at my door step. Not sure why it was not thronged for Sunday lunch, but better for us, as we had a very lovely quiet time. We ordered Sunday Roast veg option and was very good, and value for money. Only one little minor point no veg gravy and hence not given five stars.

Overall was a lovely restaurant, quite quiet when we went, food was delicious but the desserts were rather small portions for the price, pricing isn’t bad but they do charge you a service fee without telling you…

Quick and attentive service in a lovely refurbished 1930s Art Deco hotel. Classic gastro-pub menu with plenty of options. We particularly enjoyed our steaks, which were well-cooked and nicely presented.
