My family and I have been here countless times for breakfast. There has only been one occurrence where we have had to wait for a table, but this was due to the fact it was a bit late in the morning..Every time we go the breakfast is consistently good, coffee tasty, and the donuts spectacular. Having a 3 year old the staff are attentive and playful with his needs. Each time we go, we find the staff well informed and amazing.I look forward to coming back soon. Keep up the great work! :D
This is a regular for us, and one of us always has one of the specials. The Green Salad sounds blah, but it is so much more, with an unusual but scrape the plate tasty sauce made of black beans and sesame seeds. It's the best by far! We have tried the pulled pork, the slow cooked lamb, the stuffed croissants, and probably most of the other menu items, never disappointed. Coffee is great too. Suits the elderly in the neighborhood as well as the school mums and the ladies who lunch.
During our seven week stay in Melbourne we visited Dish & Spoon several times. The food has been consistently great, the whole menu is available all day (which I love!) and the coffee is excellent. Add to that the friendly service and dog friendly back courtyard and we definitely found a winner! Give it a try if you are in the Camberwell area.
A nice cafe and certainly popular especially as it set among a small row of deserted shops. A delicious lunch, reasonably quick with service, not a huge selection but with a few chef choices there is enough. I went to Dish and Spoon several times and last time, we had lunch with a friend of mine. They are friendly, the backyard is a good place for lunch (weather permitting of course). I had a salad and it was good. Coffee is fine as well. The price is similar to other cafes in the neighborhood.
Quirky little spot in residential Camberwell is truly gem. Cosy semi-industrial feel Dish and Spoon has a great ambiance about it. The young staff are super friendly and attentive. The coffee is excellent and an all day yummy breakfast menu? Bring it on!
After reading the reviews was eager to sample their fare as it was quite close to where I was staying. Service and staff were excellent, the coffee was good and the breakfast was average. I found it to be quite noisy.

Staff are a bonus! So friendly, welcoming and chatty! Food is delish! Lamb with eggs? Yes please! Coffee? It's good! Well worth a stroll and a visit!
