I have written a GREAT review of the DC Chophouse back in 2013. I just couldn’t say enough kind and wonderful things about this place. I love IPA’s, I LOVE bone-in Rib-eyes with peppercorn sauce and I just love the introduction of an ice cold wedge salad and the finality of a piping hot brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream. These good ratings must be old or paid reviewers. I get there on Thursday night in a small party of 4 to eat before a concert. Waited nearly 2 hours. For appetizers. That's right. The simple to prepare stuff that comes out usually in under 15 minutes apparently took the time of a full length action movie. And who knows how much longer we would have had to wait for the entrees we ordered.At this point, I just wanted to leave so we didn't miss our concert. We took our family there to celebrate our graduate. The kitchen couldn't handle a large group. It took about 2 hours for our food to come out, and everyone's food was extremely cold, except those with salads. There were vegetarian entree options. Our server was great. However, management didn't do much to rectify the situation; therefore, we went elsewhere for dinner. The ambiance is extremely dated. It doesn't appear that renovations have been made since they opened.
